Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the PDF Scan & Convert Pro mobile application (the "App") or website at pdfscanconvert.site (the "Site"). By accessing or using the App or Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or Site. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PDF Scan & Convert Pro.
2. License to Use the App
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on your personal iOS device solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
- Distribute, transfer, sublicense, lease, lend, or rent the App to any third party
- Reverse engineer, disassemble, or decompile the App
- Make the functionality of the App available to multiple users through any means
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms
3. Apple App Store Terms
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Terms of Service, available at apple.com/legal. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
You acknowledge that:
- These Terms are between you and PDF Scan & Convert Pro, not Apple
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms
- In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any
4. Subscriptions and Payments
The App offers optional paid subscriptions that unlock premium features. The following subscription plans are available:
- Weekly: $7.99 per week
- Monthly: $9.99 per month
- Annual: $39.99 per year
All subscriptions are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
5. User Content and Documents
The App allows you to scan and store documents on your device. You retain all rights to documents you create using the App. You are solely responsible for the documents you scan and must ensure you have the right to scan and store them.
You agree not to use the App to scan or process:
- Documents that violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights of others
- Sensitive financial documents of others without authorization
- Any content in a manner that violates any person's privacy rights
6. Camera Permission
The App requires access to your device's camera to enable document scanning functionality. Camera access is used solely for scanning documents within the App. We do not collect, store, or transmit images captured through your camera to our servers.
7. Intellectual Property
The App and all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, graphics, logos, icons, and images) are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP AND SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR SITE.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
11. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
